CERTIFICATE COURSE IN GAS DISTRIBUTION ENGINEERING
The course is designed as a part time/full time course that can be completed in about two months time. The course will be flexible enough to be broken up in to various modules; which can be tailored for a particular gas company or an education institute (for students who are passing out from engineering college). Such modules can be conducted as 2/3 days per week or as week end modules.
This will enable the candidates to choose relevant modules and complete the course at a pace suitable to them. On completion of a specific set of modules, engineer can be awarded relevant post graduate certification.
To give them a rub of the industry, we intend to include extensive hands on training at our manufacturing facilities and at the actual sites of gas companies, as appropriate.
The course is designed to impart knowledge on :
-
Gas Properties, Gas Laws, gas behavior
-
Basic Environment, Health and safety issues of CGD networks
-
Basic Mechanical and Instrumentation engineering knowledge relevant to gas industries.
-
Sizing, design, operation and maintenance of
- City Gate Stations
